Publishing our writings is a gift that we give to the past and the future. We are giving our inner child an important message; that we are important enough to be heard. It is also a gift that we give to future generations; we are telling them that we care about them enough to give them our story, our hurt, our lessons, and achievements, so that they may use it to their advantage and thrive. May they know that someone is out there rooting for them, someone who had to walk through the fire, too.
